I felt proud and honoured when invited to be Club Captain for the year 2012.
Baron Hill is the oldest club on the Island of Anglesey dating back to the 1880's
and boasts the finest greens in the area. A small friendly club with a big heart and a testing course.
A warm welcome awaits all our visitors and I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can during my year of office.

Macmillan Longest Day Golf Challenge
Baron Hill Golf Club along with other clubs nationwide entered the Challenge with a team of four to play '72' holes of golf in a day. The Team were:- David Wynn Jones (Club Captain), John Williams (Club Vice-Captain), Mick Barlow (Membership Secretary) & Terry Crone. The 1st ball was struck at 04.55 & the last ball was struck at 16.55 with play continuous throughout the day for a total of 12 hours.
Scoring was stableford with '2' scores from the '4' counting & the final total score was 351 points. They have raised so far £1,000.00 for Macmillan Support & thank ALL members for their support & sponsorship money.
