Baron Hill Golf Club is the oldest privately owned
nine-hole golf course in the U.K, was constructed in the
1880's for the late Sir Richard Henry Williams Bulkeley,
Bart - the Grandfather of current Club President.
We welcome golfers of all abilities and offer a wide range
of opportunities to participate in club competitions and
social golf.

Anglesey Youths Win at Pwllheli!Anglesey youths team (U21's) have taken the trophy for the 1st time in 23 years. The team of Mark Parry & Chris Pratt (Holyhead), Mathew Rankenhohn (Baron Hill), Darren Owen & Adam Warriner (Henllys) & Edward Beardsley (Storws Wen) were in 3rd place after the morning fourball better ball 4 shots behind Denbighshire but the afternoon singles proved an endurance test as the weather deteriorated dramatically & the boys gained 6 shots on Denbighshire finally winning by a margin of 2 shots. Gallows Point Trophy & Daily TelegraphPhillip Smith wins the Gallows Point Trophy with 80-20-60 & a reduction in handicap to 18, Joshua Roberts was runner-up with 85-21-64 also a reduction in handicap to 20. Adam Warriner was the winner of the Daily Telegraph (boys) with 71 gross & Bethan Williams was the winner of the Daily Telegraph (Girls) 81 gross. |

Club Championship Henllys G.C.Congratulations to Darren Owen (4) & Mathew Rankenhohn (4) finishing 2nd & 3rd respectively behind the winner Adam Williams. Darren scored 74 gross 1st round & 71 gross 2nd round whereas Mathew scored 73 gross 1st round & 72 gross 2nd round, Darren gaining 2nd place on the last '18' holes. Well done boys. |

The R&A Boys Home InternationalsThe Boys Home Internationals are to be played at Royal St. David's, Harlech on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th August. It is a great opportunity to see the best junior boys from England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales compete, (Tom Lewis silver medal winner at the Open this month is one example of past players). Anglesey County Junior Boys v CaernarfonshireThe Anglesey boys have achieved a win against Caernarfonshire boys by a margin of 8.5 points to 3.5 points the largest AWAY win margin since 2008 when the boys under the Captaincy of Robbie MacVicar won AWAY at Nefyn 8 points to 4. Junior Wins Bayonet League Division 2 Order of Merit

winning the North Wales boys U15's & President's Trophy by 8 shots from David Ramsay Mold G.C. on Monday at Bull Bay Golf Club. Conditions in the morning proved difficult with the CSS +3 & Darren's score of 79 equalled the best gross of the morning round. The wind eased slightly in the afternoon & Darren's 69 against the PAR of 70 was the best score of the day. Kieran Warriner was runner-up with an 88 gross in the U13's & runner-up nett in the U15's producing an excellent round of 76 - 8 - 68 in the afternoon round.
Danial Owen wins the Devonshire Shield with an excellent score of 42 points & reduces his handicap to 36. Sion Thomas runner-up on a countback with 37 points.
Mathew Rankenhohn Junior Captain had his official drive-in Sunday April 3rd at 3.00pm the winner on the day was Joshua Roberts who scored an excellent 86 gross off a handicap of 29 scoring 57 nett to reduce his handicap by 5 shots to 24.
13 year old Darren Owen a left-handed golfer who plays at Henllys G.C. & Baron Hill G.C has won the Bayonet scratch league division 2 order of merit. A fantastic achievement for a young junior golfer playing in the senior scratch team for the 1st time.
