Baron Hill Golf Course included in Today's Golfer August 2018 edition described as one of the 49 Best Nine-Hole Courses in Britain.
Quote from Today's Golfer "Baron Hill is not only a cracking nine-hole heathland lay-out but also one of the oldest privately owned courses in the UK dating back to the 1880's"
"You'll love the great greens -quick & undulating - and the wonderful views. The par 3 5th has been nominated one of the country's best short holes"
The course was remodelled in the 1960's by the then Club Captain C D Lawrie, who went on to design the Duke & Duchess Courses for Woburn Golf Club. C D Lawrie whilst Captain of Baron Hill was also the non-playing Captain of the Walker Cup team in both 1960 & 1962.
